Spa day has gone to the dogs…

Kayla came today and gave the kids extra special treatment.  They each got pedicures and a good deep brushing with vacuum.  Like a Flowbee but for your pet.  It was great!

You may remember our last experience was a bit of a rodeo.  Ginger kicking and fussing, Milo all over the porch and Abigail had to be blindfolded and sat on.  In the end we all won, thanks to Kayla.

Kayla’s hard work and patience really paid dividends.  Today, all three dogs were on their best behavior.  We did have to bribe Ginger with some cheese, but Milo and Abigail wanted none of that.  They were not going to be bribed with mere cheese in a can.  As it turns out it wasn’t necessary anyway.  Both of them sat relatively still and in one place while Kayla worked her magic.

AND, in the end, Kayla presented Milo with a new ball.  He loves it so much, no one was allowed to touch it for fear he wouldn’t see it again.  But, hours later, you will be pleased to hear, Milo has presented me with the ball and I can now throw it for him, slobber and all…

… and throw it, and throw it, and throw it… oh boy ;)

Maybe I can close my eyes and fake him out… Time for an old lady nap!

I swear it was a short nap, but when I woke up, Milo beat the ball…
