Day 39

Today is a travel day. 

Last year, Mom and I came up the coast of Oregon and turned in at the Umpqua river to Drain OR to see Mike and Debbie.  It was a really windy trip, but at the end, we got this beautiful campsite just west of Drain right on the river.  I’ll try to find the video to include it.  Mom and I visited with Mike and Debbie for a couple days and had a wonderful time. 

Debbie was getting into quilting then and she was working on a quilt for her grandson and his soon to be wife!  It was a lovely quilt.  Mom was able to give her a pointer or two as she was an accomplished seamstress.

We had a great visit and it was the 1st time Mom had gotten a chance to meet Mike and Debbie.  She loved them too!!!
